what should i do/see on my 6 week tour of europe (writing this on a ferry-centric)

basically, hitch-hiking and camping round europe for 6 weeks, starting today. anyone got any tips of places to go, ways to save money etc. also, any reccomendations of stuff to listen to would be nice. ta
