Basically my friends and I were on Tottenham Ct Road, admittedly all smashed. Some dude in a white shirt starts shoving two of my mates around, and then for literally no reason smacks an innocent bystanding girl in the face. I see this and run across the road; someone tackles him and as he's on the floor I whip off my belt and belt him round the chops. He stumbles off and about a minute later two police vans roll up and I get cuffed and put in the back

I explain what went down and eventually get let out, being told "it's my lucky night".

I think I did the right thing. Violence doesn't solve shit but when some bellend is shoving my mates about, then poor lass get slapped in the face it seemed the appropriate response
