I went to the open audition in Belfast recently, and they are apparently looking for thousands of people who are based in N.Ireland for the series 2 filming. Being a fan of the show, I'm really hoping to get involved in some capacity.

One of my friends who went to the audition with me got called up already, and filmed what will apparently be the first scene from the first episode of the new series. He said he basically just stood around on a beach all night, posing with a sword and chatting to that fella that played Ian Curtis in Control. They are filming until January, and Ive been told I could be called up at any time from now until then, if needed.

Have any DISers ever worked as an extra? or appeared on a TV show in general?
