this isn't a piss take or anything (don't want any wet beds) but just seriously imagine it.

Imagine if you believed in heaven and hell and stuff. Your experience of life would be so different. Every part of you would be impacted. You'd actually be walking around all day with the belief in your head that your soul will go somewhere to live forever in paradise (or live in constant fear of eternal agony). And everyone else will go through the same thing. Imagine how different that must feel, day to day for people.
