They're just people who make money out of the human race's laziness?

Estate agents? Shit. Case in point: We chatted to the owner of the house we are buying who told us what offer they'd accept as they were keen to move out quick smart to get their daughter into another school before term start. We offered that. The agent said they'd had better offers and that we'd have to up it. We said we wouldn't, the owners accepted it 2 days later and where angry for the hold up.

Earlier that weekend, the same agency showed us 4 properties £100K more than we could afford. The owner of the house asked what our budget was whilst we were there, we said 'not this' and the agent and owner had a huge row about how they kept showing people around to make it *look like* they were doing their jobs, when in actual fact it was a waste of time for everyone involved.

Recruitment agents? Shit. Case in point: They just use Linkedin to pester you, never listen to what it is you're after and are utterly unprofessional. One just left a message with the receptionist to phone her about a job opening and emailed me on my work email.

How shite is that?

I suspect booking agents and agents for footballers / film stars are pretty much a waste of funds too, right?
