Hello. I know this is a bad, bad thread
BUT
I haven't bought a pair of shoes in about two years, and I have no context for buying shoes.

Where would you buy a pair of shoes?
What would you expect to pay?
What makes a shoes a 'good shoe' rather than a 'bad shoe'?
