Me and a friend are going to Stockholm over the weekend. Cheap flights and that, supposed to be beautiful, and weather's looking pretty good. Stoked.

I've done some rudimentary DiS searching, which has been useful, but what I really want to know in this thread is:

1) Good, relatively cheap places to eat and drink ('cos it sounds like a lot of places are freakishly expensive)
2) The two things you'd most highly recommend doing or seeing (we'll have 2 and a half days there)

My friend's been trying to sort out somewhere free to stay on couchsurfing, with little success, and now that he's finally admitted defeat pretty much all the hostels are all booked up. So we may be slightly up shit creek in that regard, but oh well, I'm sure it'll turn out alright on the night so to speak...
