Me?

Well I did the stupid thing and followed someone's advice on here for starters! In the take away thread demanding a way to find a good curry house someone had mentioned Saffrons curry house as one of the best in Brighton. I remember seeing it on the way home this one time and it's only about 7minutes away... a bearable walk but much further then the one I frequent 'Empire Tandori' which is about 1 minute away.

Anways, this curry (chicken dhansak) cost me 7quid with Rice (Empire 5.80)... it tasted just a shade above what you'd expect at a supermarket (premium, not basics and without the grease) and the chicken was dry and I have never had such a poor dhansak from a curry house before! It got me thinking that I paid a premium for their pretty little fountain in an empty curry house!

Also Waitrose Jam Doughnuts, seriously how hard is it to make a decent Jam Doughtnut, pretty dry and lacking in any sweetness (the is bugger all sugar here) means a bland experience and no lip licking goodness.
