do you like it ? when did you last drink it ? if money was no object would you drink it more than you currently do ?

When I was about 15 I noticed a particularly posh looking bottle on the wine rack in my parents house. I asked my Dad and it was a bottle of Champers he'd been given by a work colleague when I was born. He said we'd drink it on my 18th birthday or something. We forgot about it so ended up drinking it last year. After my graduation me and my parents went for a meal. They asked if I fancied champagne there and then but we were right in central london, and I was about to go and get pissed on lager with my mates so I said i'd rather just drink some at home with the whole family. So on Xmas day last year, we drank that champagne. Dad said it was probs 5+ years old when he got given it so it may have been up to 30 years old when we drank it. Champagne for breakfast is a good way to start the day, if you were wondering. The reaction me and my sisters gave to the taste of it prompted my dad to point out that we'd probably never tasted really good, expensive champagne before - the taste was really really different to anything else i've ever had. It was alright, nothing to shout about. If I was stupidly minted I'd still only drink it at weddings. I'd rather try lots of interesting ales or drink expensive whiskey.
