and it went really well, the interviewer says at the end that there's a good chance you'll be hearing back from them as you seem really well suited for the job and basically unless the next person they interview is outstanding, the job is yours. They'll be in touch at the end of the week once the remaining interviews are completed.

The the following week you get a letter through the post from them and it says 'Unfortunately you were unsuccessful in your application for the position stated above. We decided your face is too noisy.'
