1) These new facebook privacy settings, yeah? I've not "taken the tour" or whatever, but is there any way that during the changeover they could have re-set people's custom settings, thereby opening up your profile to people who you previously had on lockdown?

2) I've just proofread somebody's dissertation. I've barely ever spoken to him, tbh. It's a master's disseration on engineering or mechanics or some such. Steel, anyway. It only really required a punctuation-and-grammar check (he's Russian). Took me about 2-2.5hrs. So: what should I charge him? Bearing in mind that a) it's due in tomorrow (raises price), b) my own unfinished dissertation is due in on Thursday (raises price), but c) I haven't done as thorough job as I might have done because of the former point (lowers price), although d) I could still tell him it took me longer than it did (unscrupulously raises price). Also e) I don't know how much money he has (doesn't affect price) although I get the impression it's quite a lot (raises price), but f) when he came round earlier and asked me to do it, he asked me how much I wanted for doing it and I said I hadn't really thought about payment (probably drastically lowers price).
