13 minor faults including driving inbetween two lanes, signalling the wrong way (twice), rolling back at least 10 meters during a hillstart, driving less than a second behind a lorry on a dual carriageway at 60 mph, stopping behind a car for 5 minutes confused as to what the driver was doing, going from 1st to 4th gear straight, and a few more to boot.

I'd say the fact that I passed is proof of the existence of some kind of deity. Except when I think about it logically, said deity probably wouldn't give a shit about my driving test, and I didn't pray to said deity beforehand so probably wouldn't even notice.

Anyway, who here on DiS passed first time? How many times did people fail and what did they do wrong? Any interesting test related stories.

Lets use this as a general "Nostalgic driving test thread" or whatever. Imma go and celebrate the fact that not only did I pass, I also survived the half hour or so.
