not just topping this poll (i realise it's more than 6 years ago but i doubt that peoples opinions have changed that much) but winning MORE THAN HALF THE VOTE ?

onions are pretty nifty, yes, versatile, and they're great for bulking out meals. but they're pretty shit compared to sweetcorn, carrots, and courgettes.
