Do you still care about England?
I was mad for them around Euro 96 of course. Cheered them on since then, been to a bunch of games. Got very excited about the matches last summer. But since then, I just can’t bring myself to care.
Last night was drab, the team are faceless and workmanlike, and they all have Lego man haircuts. Was hoping the bastards would lose.
Do I just hate them because they were so dreadful at the World Cup? Or is it just a non-vintage team at the moment? Are there many exciting new English players on the rise, or are these bastards the best we’ve got for the next five years?
