'Do you know of two people in the field whom you would like to read your work?'

So if this is a book about art they're just asking me if I know two people who work in art that have said they'd read it? I can make this up, surely? What's the point. Will they check? This question is confusing me more than it should.

Anyway, I know of two people directly involved in the stuff I plan to write about who would read it so I can put yes but I feel like there's something I'm missing here...
