It's absolutely and utterly dead. Still chargers when plugged in (didn't do that too quickly for electrocution reasons!) but won't turn on. It's covered by a warranty so should be picked up for repair in the next few days but it's a fucker all the same.

Anyone got experience of John Lewis' repair system and how long it takes? Or how long computer repairs tend to take in general?
