Automatic qualification for Euro 2012 has been sorted. The teams through are:

Ukraine

Netherlands
Greece
England
Denmark
Spain
Sweden

Apart from the hosts, England and Sweden are the only teams out of that lot never to have won a European Championship. IT'S GONNA BE OUR YEAR.

The playoffs for the remaining four places are still to come in November. The draw is tomorrow - Portugal, Croatia, Ireland, and the Czech Republic are seeded, with Bosnia, Turkey, Montenegro, and Estonia unseeded. Even though the seeded teams are probably all praying for Estonia I don't think any of them should think they're guaranteed to get through.

In other news, Liverpool have announced they're going to lead a bid to get overseas PL television rights divided on a club-by-club basis. This will lead to the situation we have in Spain or Scotland. Fuck off, Liverpool.
