I've not read a particularly good biography in a while - the last couple have been fairly dull and I have a couple I was given (Keith Richards & Roger Moore) which I can't really find the motivation to start.

What really good (or really bad) biogs have you read? Did they change your opinion of the person, or reinforce what you already thought?

I might get that new Dickens one, anyone know if it's any good?
