You go round to a mate's house one day to have a few games of FIFA with him or something. You get there, walk into his living room and notice he's bouncing a little ball of plasticine back and forth off the wall. Whenever there's even the most miniscule of pauses he puts his controller down immediately to continue messing about with it, squeezing it between his fingers then rolling it into a little ball and bouncing it back and forth off the wall again. "Heheh, where did you get that from?" you ask and he replies "Someone left it here when I had that party last week. No idea who."

Ten games later and you're both pretty bored. You call it a day and tell him you're gonna go home and have your tea. There's a sense of mutual satisfaction with the decision.

The following Thursday you get a text. "Can u come round." Assuming he has a problem with his laptop that needs fixing, as he often does, you reply in the affirmative and put your coat on.

You arrive at his house and knock on the window. He's usually in the living room. It becomes apparent that this time he isn't. No one answers the door but you conclude that he's probably just upstairs having a piss and decide to let yourself in. He won't mind. The front door isn't locked which is nice and convenient.

As you're taking your shoes off you shout his name but there's no reply. Maybe he's wearing his headphones. You walk upstairs to his bedroom, open the door and his head and his entire desk is embedded in a massive mound of plasticine taking over his entire bedroom and you just hear him like dead muffled going 'alright is that you? ah mate i love it so much i've got another batch coming tonight. i'm overdrawn'
