if someone you know said that a restaurant was absolutely amazing and that you should go, but you looked up reviews (both professional and on trip advisor etc) and most of them said it was shite, would you still give it a go?
obviously there are other factors (cost, location etc), but does the recommendation mean more just because you know the person who gave it?
