So week 1 is in the books and tonight sees the start of WEEK 2!

Well then, this time last week most people were probably already writing this one off as an easy round in Axis' prediction game. But as is generally the case in this mad, bad sport of ours, things may not be as they seem.

OK, I still think the Patriots will win this (fairly) comfortably, the Jets still have too many issues and the Patriots still have too much talent to overlook, particularly in Foxboro. The Jets came back to stun the Derrel Revis led Bucs and proved under Geno Smith they may not be quite the joke of last year.

Similarly, the Patriots survived the Bills at best, looking fairly underwhelming given the heap of talent still at their disposal. I do think they'll be stronger and with more of a point to prove in front of their home fans, particularly against the hated (well, laughed at) Jets, but it may well be closer than first expected.

I'm gonna stick my stick out and say NE only win by 4-5 points, with the Jets running them all the way to the 4th with a respectable showing, I look forward to being proved wrong.
