Call for ban on movement after person falls down...

So someone has fallen off a new Routemaster. Sounds nasty tbf. Presumably people have also fallen from non-Routemaster buses, and even things that weren't buses at all, but unfortunately I don't have the stats to hand.

Darren Johnson, Green member on the London Assembly Transport Committee member, said 'In light of today's tragic incident as well, as concerns raised by disability and other campaign groups, the mayor should order an immediate halt to the production of these vehicles.'

Overreaction? An excuse for a Green vs Tory war of words?

As an aside, has anyone used one of the new Routemasters? Are they still for for getting on/off at speed and chasing down the road? Used to love that.
