Legal driving age

harru [Edit] [Delete] 11:50, 11 October '13

Someone in charge (tories?) plan to change it to 18, then attach a load of conditions for the first year or so, and something about 100 hours of lessons before you can take a test. (At £25 an hour for a lesson, that's quite a lot of money). If these go through bus and train services would have to improve exponentially so that young people out in the sticks can actually get anywhere at all.

Having 17 year olds racing around and crashing into things and each other is a bit of a problem, think this is probably overkill though. what's the answer?

Something about tories literally eliminating social mobility for young people.

hmmm not very interesting.

indie points on offer for mentions of not needing a car in london, and not needing a car anywhere ever.
