I try and support local/independent business as much as I can. But I really do have a love affair with Pret. I realise that they are dominating the high street and probably affecting all independent shops. But...I love all their salads/ veggie sandwiches, and I've just had leek and potato soup and it was divine. And the bread roll was still warm.

The brie and avocado baguette was lush. And the posh cheese and pickle is ace.
