I'm about halfway through a literature degree -- losing any faith in its merit, considering fucking off to europe or something (copenhagen?? berlin?) but wondering whether my decision will have any adverse affects in the long run

what is the consensus on a lit degree today? would it really prove indispensable in getting me a writing job or whatever
