When I have clicked on a thread and then go back to the index page, the little blue dot no longer disappears on the thread(s) I have just read. I find this useful for tracking when a new post has been made.

Also, when I click on the 'last post' link to enter a thread, it doesn't take me to the last post, it just opens the thread normally. This was also a useful feature, particularly when threads have more than 50 or so replies.
