Mobile phones: A Beginner's Guide

NoahVale [Edit] [Delete] 10:48, 25 November '13

Right - I need to sort myself out a phone. I have never bought myself one, I have never taken out a contract, I have never Paid-As-I-Go. I have always used the phone I was given by my employers and never had my own. Now - I need one.

Two possible scenarios:
1. I snaffle the Blackberry that work gave me, so I will have a phone but no contract
2. If they want it back, I will need a phone and a contract

Some facts that might help:
> The best signal at home is O2, so that looks like favourite
> I will make a max of 5 or 6 calls a day on average (if that)
> I will text a couple of times a day
> Not really fussed about internet access, cameras, games
> Cheaper the better as far as I'm concerned

Ideas....?
