A triumph for passengers wanting to have a pint with their meal, or busloads of stag/hen parties en route to a weekend away. Obviously the temptation is there for drivers to have a quick snifter, but there's also a market for the authorities to lie in wait, breathalyser at the ready, for those who break the law. I'd imagine the Police Commissioner has already given some thought to having a dedicated constable keeping an eye on people.
