I'm contemplating doing this tonight as my friends are unavailable and I don't like staying in on a Saturday night, but I'm worried about what some of the people inside might think. I don't mind being on my own, in fact I like it, but I'm worried that me drinking alone at the pub might be stigmatised by others, and I might have to put up with some derogatory banter from certain drunkards when going outside for a smoke. Is it normal/okay to go out drinking on your own in your 20s? The pub itself isn't usually that busy, so I can't hide in the crowd or anything...
