Anyone read a lot of crime?

hip_young_gunslinger [Edit] [Delete] 14:55, 6 May '14

I feel like I'd like to read some crime, but I don't know where to start. Lots of different writers, lots of long running series, lots of interchangeable covers and names like Dead Men Can't Lie and Eeny Meeny Miny STABBING. I don't want to waste my time reading crap, but I'm sure there must be good stuff out there, people go crazy for it. Should I try an Ian Rankin or a Lee Child? Go back and try an Agatha Christie? All recommendations welcome.
