Thursday Gaming Thread
Watch Dogs is out. Reviews range from 7 to 9 as you'd expect. General gist seems to be that graphically its not the game we were teased at E3 but its pretty nice. Gameplay seems to be great when it forges its own identity and bases the game around hacking: less good when its driving, fighting and doing side missions which go against character traits in the main arc. Sounds promising though...
New Battlefield announced which seems to be one big online game of cops and robbers.
Wii U outsells PS4 and Xbone. Possibly as Mario Kart 8 is out tomorrow, and probably as there are now no exciting titles for those two machines due until November.
Which leads me nicely onto a debate I was having the other day when I said I was thinking about getting a Wii U to a mate. Got openly laughed at despite it having 7 or 8 games I really wanna play. He's got a PS4 and an Xbone which from what I can tell, a graphically better version of a game or two aside, haven't got a single decent title on them yet? You know in the long run they will but would / why did you pay £300 for one right now (is that still what they cost?).
Played some more ACity. Got a lot better but still preferring Asylum thus far, more for the shock of the new I guess. Beat up a shark in what I hope was an ode to the 70s Batman film.
You guys?!?
