Super boring landlord/contract thread

hip_young_gunslinger [Edit] [Delete] 12:40, 30 June '14

You have been warned.

The 12-month contract for our flat comes to an end at the end of August. As of yet, we haven't heard anything from the landlord about extending/changing it. Am I right in thinking that if no one says anything, the contract just rolls onto a month-by-month basis after August, or does it depend on what's in the contract (which I haven't bothered to dig out yet)? I have the feeling like if I get in touch with them to ask for another year, they'll be reminded we're there and up the price because that's what landlords do. Of course, I might get a letter from them tomorrow. Who knows. Exciting stuff.
