Things we say that reinforce oppression (however slightly) without our even considering them.

One occurred to me this morning, from another thread. Saying something 'sucks dick' as a perjorative.

Anyone else think that's pretty weird? Given that men spend 90% of their time trying to get their dicks sucked (and that most *willing* givers also like doing it) it seems counter-intuitive to think of it as a negative.

Until you consider that gay men do it and there I guess lies the issue.
