My and the full roast eater have charge of a blind each. His is missing two slats. He has the gap so the sun burns my retinas for about 15 minutes at this time of day, particularly with the low winter sun. When he goes out I move his blinds but he soon puts them back. I retaliate by not closing my blinds until the last possible moment (for my benefit) because I know the sun shining on the white wall behind me dazzles him.
