You literally can't move for films, books, songs, bands etc called American this, American that. Things are un-American, teens are all-American.

I was just reading this http://www.theguardian.com/film/2015/feb/25/american-sniper-trial-eddie-ray-routh-found-guilty-and-sentenced-to-life-in-prison-without-parole and found myself laughing out loud when the judge calls him an American disgrace. Can they not give it a rest for a fucking minute?

ps this is not meant to be an America bashing thread. I like lots of things about America and its people.
