Real Life Quidditch
Met someone in the pub recently who was telling me he was out with his "Quidditch Team". I was like u wot m8.
But apparently its a thing. A massive thing. Thousands of people play it, there are leagues, university teams and even a world cup. Big US college sport too. Apparently it's like a mixture of rugby, dodgeball and netball, or something, oh and you have to hold a broom between your legs at all times.
He literally didn't believe me that I'd never read a single Harry Potter book or even seen one of the films. He also claimed that its not only geeks who play it but also sporty meat heads.
