Applying for jobs advice thread

mute-branches [Edit] [Delete] 18:49, 14 July '15

Partly cause Googling for this stuff is nigh-on impossible. You'll get one page saying "you need to write your personal statement from the perspective of an undying desert spirit", and another saying "employers won't give you a second glance if you don't submit a twenty-four hour tone poem based around the loose theme of 'wind'".

Basically, if a job's asking for a cover letter and a CV to be emailed -- do you put the cover letter in the main body of the email, or as an attachment with a little buncha shit in the body to introduce it all?
