first day back at work today so had quite a few of these. somewhat irksome being jan 11th but understandable considering I've been away. No doubt that these same people still be doing it throughout Jan to people they haven't seen yet though.

i suggest we limit the wishing of a happy new year to the first week of a new year only - up to and including January 7th - and anyone doing it outside of this should be shunned.
