This weekend I'm going to have to tie a shoelace on my own for the first time

inside-outside [Edit] [Delete] 09:25, 5 May '16

I'm thinking of going for the bush walk, it's jaunty and looks like a sort of self aware way of tying them, although I only have gray and black laces not coloured.

It looks fairly doable from youtube, although with some incomprehensible quick flick movements in the middle (magic?). I'm slightly apprehensive, does anyone have any tips? Is there a knack to it?
