Spread this to your friends..
sean by Sean Adams October 6th, 2002
Below is a message we'd love spread around the internet (use our send a link to this to a friend works wonders) to tell more people what we're about. We're run totally diy and your help and support to spread the word will benefit everyone. Thank you!

DROWNEDINSOUND.com
.........from the stadiums to the grubby pubs, covering Rock, Leftfield, Punk, Electronica, Metal, a lil bit of Hip-hop, pop and dance; all together, on one website as it happens, by people it's happening to. Free downloads and all kinds of resouces to guide you...

October first saw the www.drownedinsound.com second birthday and in the same time passed the 5000 article limit. Currently the site receives over half-million hits a month, which isn't bad considering it's a bunch of kidz (the editors only 20) with no money until a bit of recent investment... This is what is on DiS..

REVIEWS
We pride ourselves on having people who know what they're talking about, telling you how it is, passionately and enthusiastically without journalist-weirdo-crap. There's currently THE COOPER TEMPLE CLAUSE live from last monday, the brillant AQUALUNG album, St.ETIENNE, the new WEEZER ep, is FEEDERs new single any kp? TURIN BRAKES, MCLUSKY, PiTCHSHiFTER all live this week... interviews with THE ROCK OF TRAVOLTA, THORIA, TORTOISE, MY VITRIOL, QUEEN ADREENA and tons and tons more... books, demoes, festivals, you name it, we got it! (probably)

That's not to mention a full releases guide, gig listings, bands database, our showcase gigs we put on, our new clubnigh (launching at the Underworld later this month), our mp3 club which is coming atcha soon and alsorts of other goodies.
