The new album, tentatively titled 'At War With The Mystics', is due for a 2005 release. Frontman Wayne Coyne told whoever would listen: "We've moved away from robot sounds to sounds that are made by robots that come off organic.
"It's getting into a space-age jazz element. Hopefully not too far out of the realm of what's listenable."
The frontman went as far as suggesting that its sound will be "a sort of progressive Dixieland".
One early, confirmed song title is 'Mr Ambulance Driver'. Apparently it's about a girl that's dying. Nice.
