Airwaves ices off the line-up
afuture1 by Andrew Future October 11th, 2004
The line-up for Iceland Airwaves is complete, with Hot Chip, Sahara Hotnights and The Bravery the latest bands to be added to a brimming list of more over a hundred acts.

The five-day event takes place at various clubs and venues in downtown Reykjavik between 20th and 24th October.

The line-up includes international artists such as Keane, The Shins, yourcodenameis:milo and The Stills, alongside some of Iceland's finest in the form of Minus, Gus Gus, Singapore Sling and dozens more.

All the acts will play in either Grand Rokk, Kapital, Gaukur á Stöng, The National Theatre basement (Þjóðleikhúskjallarinn), Nasa, or Reykjavik Art Museum (Hafnarhúsið).

Smaller events and DJ gigs will take place in three or four selected bars, also located in the city centre.

Flights to and from Iceland are now almost filled to capacity, so if you've forgotten to book your's you'd better be quick!

DiS will be wrapped up warm with Virtual Festivals, ensuring Reykjavik keeps its reputation as the world's party capital. Expect the latest news, reviews, and photos from Iceland Airwaves 2004 as it happens.
