The difference being that each and every track on the 2-CD album will consist entirely of remixes and cover versions of her 1995 single 'Army Of Me'. And what's more, all proceeds from the album's sales will be donated to various charities.
Over the years, Bjork has been sent a number of unsolicited remixes and cover versions of the original from hi-energy disco to raucous death metal. However, more mixes and cover versions are required to complete the album, and submissions are invited from any musicians working in any genre worldwide.
If you wish to be a part of this strange but no doubt beautiful collection, the deadline for submitting a new version of 'Army Of Me' is 17th January.
All submissions must be encoded to 128kbs mp3 and posted to bjorkremixes@gmail.com, oh, and don't forget to include the name of your band, DJ, remix and any other contact details.
