Biffy Clyro eBay Tsunami Auction
schown by Stu Chown January 21st, 2005

Scot-rock behemoths, Biffy Clyro, are auctioning off some goodies in aid of the recent Tsunami disaster.

From their website:

"Like the rest of the world, we were shocked and saddened by the events in Asia, that resulted in an unimaginable amount of people losing their lives, and countless more being left homeless, with many people still missing.

It puts into perspective how trivial certain things are, and like many other people, has inspired us to try and do our part to help.

We're going to auction off a few things from the Biffy cupboard, to try and raise money for the Disasters Emergency Committee, who are working to help the victims of the tsunami.

The auction will go live on www.ebay.co.uk tomorrow (Friday 21st January) and will be linked from this website.

We are planning to auction the following items:-

Fender Stratocaster Guitar - Simon's silver strat, that he has used and toured countless times, and was one of the guitars used during the recording of Blackened Sky.

thekidswhopoptodaywillrocktomorrow - a signed copy of the band's ultra-rare 4-track ep (which features 57, Hope For An Angel, Justboy, and Less The Product)

Signed drum skin one of the drum skin's that Ben used on tour, signed by the band

T-shirts - the 'Blackened Sky' and 'Holiday Resort' style t-shirts, which have been out of circulation for a couple of years. One of each will be in the auction.

Tour laminate - an Access All Areas tour laminate used on the September/October 2004 tour.

The Auction is online HERE

Please help us out, and tell as many people as you can about this auction, and hopefully we can make a small difference".
