100 bands to play massive free festival in Middlesbrough! What's not to like?
holliy by holliy June 8th, 2005
Want to see The Editors, Black Wire, Nine Black Alps, the Paddingtons and The Thrills for free? Best get yerself over to Middlesbrough on Sunday 19th June…

Yep, that’s right: The Middlesbrough Music Live Festival is back, and bigger than ever. Starting at 12 noon and continuing 'til late, 2005 is the free festival’s sixth year and will boast its largest and most eclectic line-up yet with over 100 bands playing ten different stages. It’s organised by Middlesbrough Music Council, who’re expecting over 30,000 people to turn up. The aim is to book bands just before they become massive, which this year means the likes of Towers of London, The Rifles and The Departure are putting in an appearance. Should be quite an event, then…

For further details and a full line-up, get yerself over to middlesbroughmusiclive.co.uk.
