Wish You Were Here? Pink Floyd reform for Live 8
disnews by DiS News June 12th, 2005
The post-Syd Barrett Pink Floyd line up of Roger Waters, Dave Gilmour, Nick Mason and Rick Wright are to reform for this year’s Live 8 concert.

The news is somewhat surprising given that Waters and Gilmour still hold onto one of rock's most notorious and long-standing feuds.

The pair have not appeared on stage together since touring The Wall album in the early eighties.

It follows persistent rumours for the past year that the band were about to reform to mark the 30th anniversary of their ‘Wish You Were Here’ album.

The deadline for ticket applications for Live 8 is tonight (Sunday 12th June).
