Parental advisory: politics! Chris T-T returns
shadyadie by [redacted] September 16th, 2005
Chris T-T releases a new mini album, 9 Red Songs, on Oct 31st. It’s described as “post-Hoxton, post-Blair, post-MDMA folk protest music” and will be released, as always, on Snowstorm Records.

The album breaks from his ‘London’ trilogy. The reason? “The record-in-progress turned out to be a dystopian fantasy that predicted the London terrorist bombs in raw detail. Hinging on an elaborate fiction that is now fresh history, it’s unreleasable.” So 9 Red Songs is what he’s come up with instead – sarcasm and politics, back to folk roots. It’s gonna be super and it’s gonna get its own ‘parental advisory’ sticker. Rude!

Chris sang a couple of songs with Jim Bob (that Carter USM, children) last night at the Camden Barfly. It was proper good. Chris also supports the bloody great Brakes on tour next month, on all dates except Leeds. Bad luck, Leeds.

October
15 Glasgow King Tut’s
16 Manchester Night & Day
18 London Borderline
20 Cardiff Barfly
23 Oxford Zodiac
24 Birmingham Barfly
25 Bristol Fleece
26 Brighton Concorde 2
27 Tunbridge Wells Forum

Then there will be a headline tour in early November and most likely another guest appearance with Jim Bob in December.
