Great! Ormond Street benefit with Redjetson and more
disnews by DiS News September 20th, 2005
Last year, one in ten beds at London's Great Ormond Street were closed due the massive budget deficit that the hospital is facing. This meant that nearly 100 operations were unable to be performed and, as a result, two children died.

It's not so ridiculous therefore that Drowned in Sound suggests you pop along to Hoxton this weekend to take in some great music and do your bit for the kids - literally.

Sunday 25th September
London Hoxton Bar & Kitchen
£7 (adv - here) | £9 - Doors at 7pm, late license 'til 1am.
Neils Children
Miss Black America
Caretaker
Cherubs
plus special guests Redjetson
Compere: John Kennedy from XFM

If you can't wait until then for your fill of DiS Recordings' post-rock heroes, check them out this Thursday 22nd September at London's Islington Buffalo Bar. Then in October they tour with Pure Reason Revolution, then iLIKETRAINS and then support Bloc Party for two sold out nights at Brixton Academy. Details on their website and myspace.

Redjetson release new single 'This, Everyday, For The Rest Of Your Life' on October 31st complete with remixes by Anthony from Hope of the States and Birdpen.
