Voice of good band The Gossip has lamented the experience of supporting Scissor Sisters on their recent tour.
In an interview with Mixmag, Ditto attacked the fans of their touring partners for not being punk enough and for not having watched the right films.
"I love them and I think we've got a lot of common ground," began Ditto. "But supporting their tour was a really soul-sucking experience.
"It wasn't gigs, it was 'concerts', you know like when you're nine and New Kids On The Block come to town and you camp outside the mall all day to get your ticket.
"The audience were moms wanting chart hits. They've never seen a John Waters movie or heard the Ramones."
