Gorky's Zygotic Mynci have been confirmed as the support on Manic Street Preachers upcoming Welsh dates.

The band will support the Manics on the two warm-up shows for the Carling Festival appearances in Reading and Leeds (24th-25th August). The shows take place on:

August
20th - Llandudno Conference Centre
23rd - Cardiff International Arena

As previously reported on DiS, Brave Captain isn't playing on either date despite reports stating otherwise. A statement from Wichita Recording's Mark Bowen said " Martin was asked to do those Manics shows but unfortunately word that he was doing them got out before he had ever responded. Brave Captain had already decided there would be no more gigs this year including a planned appearance at Reading."
